It's been a while. A very long while.
The old site had been running since 2013 — the same design for over a decade. My last post was 2021. I was in my late 20s when I built it. I'm in my 40s now. A lot has changed.
The content was solid but the design was showing its age, and if I'm being honest, I'd been meaning to do something about it for years. What finally pushed me over the line was my career — I'm now working as a UI developer. So when the itch to rebuild hit, I actually had the skills to do it properly this time.
I stripped everything back. New design, new code — pure HTML, CSS and JavaScript, no WordPress, no plugins, no bloat. Clean and fast, the way a site about training smart should be.
The content got a refresh too. I kept what matters — the training programme, the nutrition guides, the IF protocol — and cut everything that didn't belong. The blog is empty right now and I'm fine with that. Better a clean slate than a graveyard of posts from 2013.
So what's coming? Training logs are back. I'll be writing about what I'm actually doing in the gym, what's working, what isn't, and anything else worth sharing — nutrition, biohacking, whatever's on my mind. No schedule, no pressure. Just honest posts when there's something worth saying.
